1 Ki 9; 2 Chron 8; Ps 136; Ro 5
We need to continually recognise the goodness of God in our everyday lives. Living with an attitude of thankfulness focuses our hearts and minds on his grace and love and gives us hope in Christ. Without hope we can become bitter and resentful and find the trials of life overwhelming. As the Psalmist says, “Give thanks to the lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.” (Ps 136:1)
