Jeremiah 48-49; Psalm 67; 1Jn 1
We can’t hide from God, he knows us completely. By walking in the light “we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ”. (2Cor 10:5) In doing this there are always situations where we confess inappropriate thoughts and actions. In openly confessing these to Christ the power of sin is broken and we trust in his forgiveness. This is the normal life of a believer. We walk in the light because the light will always highlight aspects of our life which needs to fall away. This is how we grow and mature in Christ. Painful at times but always necessary.
