Jeremiah 26, 35-36; John 20
Even before Jesus had ascended to his father he returned to comfort and encourage his friends. One cannot undervalue this selfless, kind and loving act. Even though he survived the horrors of death and Hell, his first thought was for his friends. The good news is that he is still the same Jesus today as he was then. He promises us that he will take us to himself so we do not have to experience the wrath and judgement that will eventually seize all mankind. I love Jesus for who is and pray others would see him as I do.
