Isaiah 25-28; Heb 13

The thing that impresses me most about Christianity is that Jesus never birthed an organisational structure for believers to operate in. In the Old Testament the temple with it's priests, sacrifices and law was a structure where people could go through the motions of honoring God without meaning it. And it's possible to do this in churches today. We can get so caught up in the form and predictability of worship that we can leave out God's heart and soul. When God calls on his people to separate themselves from the world he wants more of us than church attendance. He wants us to encounter him in every sense of the Word.
