2 Ki 15-16; Hos 1; Heb 1
God uses typologies and examples to help us understand what he wants to say to us. Sometimes in reading these we may find them difficult to interpret or understand. This is where we need to pause, seek the peace of the Holy Spirit and listen. It takes practice but by perseverance it is possible to hear clearly from God. Remember, he loves you and loves speaking into your life. He's not an angry, vengeful God waiting for you to fail. He loves you and encourages you to walk in a higher place with him. Your faith is very precious to him, more so than the wealth of the world. Do not give up! Persevere until you find him - and you will.
