Jeremiah 31-32; 1John 4
In the midst of rejecting his people, God gave his people a message of hope through the prophecies of Jeremiah. When the people had suffered enough for their sin and rebellion against God, God would restore them and nurse them back to health. Without hope we have nothing to live for. Proverbs 29:18 tells us “.. where there is no vision, the people perish.. “. Having hope helps us endure suffering and affliction because we know better days are coming and this is why we trust and put our hope in the promises of God.
