Having a good, clean conscience before God is important for healthy life. To keep a clean conscience it must be washed regularly in the word of God. As areas of life are highlighted or exposed as sin we can confess these and know the forgiveness we have in Christ. As hope strengthens we become more determined in our walk with Christ and are surrounded by the gentleness of his spirit.
