Now that Jesus has covered us and forgiven our sin, the requirements to live a holy life has increased. Not only our actions but our attitude of heart comes under the heavy scrutiny of God’s judgement. The unbelieving world refuses to acknowledge this and lacks the fear of God and so will account directly to him. Although Christians will avoid condemnation and eternal separation we will all stand before Christ and give an account to how we used the gift of life. We should all be ready to face that day.
