EX 28 - 29 Acts 7
The life and death of Steven is a great example of how a Christian should know the word of God and proclaim it in the face of persecution and trial. It is evidence of a well-held faith in the heart of a believer, unrelenting even to the point of death, a testimony to the power and love of Christ. My prayer will always be to have this steadfastness of heart and willingness to suffer for Christ. Steven never compromised or faltered in his testimony, demonstrating the power of Jesus' words “don't worry what you will say when you are brought before the courts for the Holy Spirit will give you the words to say”.
